Ashtanga Pranayama

Pranayam is the fourth limb of Ashtanga Yoga. It reaches the being's life force, the second Kosha, or body sheath. Asana practice reaches the body, but pranayama practice moves inside that body into the life force, allowing for the creation of a conscious being.
